Ladies, Gentleman and Beiber fans; Good evening:)
I feel the need, in this installment, to introduce the relevance of the comma in today's society. No, comma's aren't for everyone, that I concede - but let's be frank, if you aren't using them; you're an idiot.
It really doesn't take much to string a long flurry of words together, creating something similar to that of a sentence. Infants manage that much. NO - the trick with the english language, is that one needs to punctuate. It's frustrating to have to read non-sensicle babble dribbling across the facebook page. For example:
"I ate cheese yum it tastes so good" - You make me angry.
Now, i've quite sure Pumpkin Pete (Who's name has been altered to avoid confrontation with grammatical extremists) knew he was being grammatically retarded, but he did it anyway. He's so brave. People tend to do stupid things around this time of year: Lady Gaga wrapped herself in dead cow, Jason started a blog - really inexplicable shit. Either way, writing one of these -> "," isn't all that hard.
Another definite positive, is that the govt could never get away with banning the comma(As they may well do with words, eventually), why? They save lives! Example:
"Let's eat grandma" - Clearly, something is wrong with this sentence.
"Let's eat, grandma " - One awesome squiggly line later, and a grandma somewhere breathes a sigh of relief.
Take it or leave it - the comma kicks ass.
